The first earth was made up of the clergy and they did not concede taxes. The second estate was made up of nobles and they either owed no taxes and those who might turn over owed do not pay them. The third estate was made up of everyone else, including peasants, urban applicationers, and bourgeoisie and they would pay fees to use things they needed, they would owe the rulers money, and they would have to pay taxes. During the Old Regime, the life of the people in the third estate was worse than the people that belonged to the first and second estates. The third estate is obviously very unhappy consid ering they argon the class that is the smite off. They decide to stand up for themselves and organize their own fabrication which they called the National Assembly. The National Assembly gives the king, initiative and 2nd estates terms. They claim fair taxes which would end aristocratic privileges.
